The Secret Scribes Shipping Policy: North Pole Mailbag Schedule

Every personalized letter from Santa is written with care, stamped, and prepared for delivery under the watchful eye of our Chief Elf. Her mission is to make sure every envelope leaving the workshop is flawless, because she knows that creating joy for a child is Santa’s top priority.

Chief Elf’s Workshop Schedule (Processing Time)

Each letter is carefully personalized using the details you provide about the child. Once Santa hand-signs the letter, Chief Elf inspects it thoroughly to ensure everything is perfect before sealing it for delivery.

Processing Time: Please allow 3-5 business days for the workshop to complete writing, printing, signing, inspection, and sealing. Letters are dispatched in scheduled North Pole batch mailings twice weekly.

Shipping Fee, Packaging & Carrier

To ensure Santa’s letter arrives safely, unbent, and fully tracked, each order is mailed in a 9x13 rigid protective envelope exclusively via FedEx. To protect your family's holiday magic and avoid the post office delays experienced during past holiday seasons, we no longer ship any letters via USPS.

Flat Rate FedEx Shipping: $10.00 flat rate per order. This covers high-quality printing, protective rigid packaging, and guaranteed step-by-step FedEx tracking.

PLEASE NOTE — NO PO BOXES: Because all packages are shipped exclusively via FedEx to ensure reliable, delay-free holiday delivery, Santa cannot ship to PO Boxes or APO/FPO military addresses. Please provide a physical street address at checkout.

Guaranteed to Arrive Before Christmas

To cherish your child’s heartfelt belief, we ship each letter with care and intention:

  • Batch Schedule: Letters are printed and dispatched via FedEx in scheduled batches every Tuesday and Friday afternoon. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order is on its way.

  • Guaranteed Order Cutoff Date: To ensure delivery before Christmas, please place your order by midnight on Saturday, December 12. Our final guaranteed Christmas batch will be dispatched on Tuesday, December 15.

Late Letters, Lasting Memories

Santa may craft a few additional letters for orders placed between December 13–20. While Chief Elf cannot promise Christmas delivery for late orders, each letter will be hand-signed and uniquely personalized as if it were an early order.

Late letters still bring joy and can be shared for Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Year’s, or Three Kings Day (January 6), creating memories that last long after the season ends.

Tracking and Delivery

All orders are shipped as tracked packages in 9x13 rigid mailers via FedEx.

  • Tracking: You will receive a tracking number via email on your order's scheduled batch mailing date.

  • Delivery Time: FedEx Ground / Home Delivery typically takes 2–5 business days depending on destination.
