Each Santa letter is individually written and designed using details provided by the parent or guardian rather than created from a fill-in-the-blank template. Because this level of personalization takes time and care, The Secret Scribes accepts a maximum of 100 paid Santa-letter orders for the 2026 season.
The Secret Scribes offers physical keepsake Santa letters only because the presentation is part of the experience, from the quality green-and-gold envelope and Santa-themed embellishments to the finished letter inside. The letter arrives separately so the parent or guardian can tuck it into the special envelope themselves, becoming part of the Christmas surprise before their child ever sees it.
Each order includes a personalized physical Santa letter and Nice Certificate, finished with keepsake details including red velvet ribbon, a gold seal, and a green envelope with gold trim on the flap, a Santa sticker, and a “Naughty or Nice” stamp. Each letter is hand-signed by Santa, and families may choose from two Nice Certificate designs, one featuring Santa with a lighter skin tone and one featuring Santa with a deeper skin tone.
You provide meaningful moments, interests, family details, and anything else you would like Santa to know about the recipient. Santa letters are limited to a maximum of two pages, so if you provide many details, please tell us which ones matter most to you so those can be given priority.
Yes. Families can order personalized Santa letters for more than one child. Please provide each child’s information separately so every letter can be written specifically for that child rather than treated as a duplicate.
Yes. Families may choose from two Nice Certificate designs, one featuring Santa with a lighter skin tone and one featuring Santa with a deeper skin tone. The choice is there to help families select the Santa representation that feels right for them.
The personalized letter arrives separately from the special green-and-gold envelope so the parent or guardian can tuck the letter inside themselves. This helps keep the surprise intact while allowing the adult to become part of creating the Christmas experience.
Each Santa Letter Package is prepared with care and shipped via FedEx with tracking according to our scheduled 2026 batch mailings. Your order date determines its scheduled mailing. Please see our 2026 Shipping Dates page for the full calendar.
Orders close on December 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Orders received December 10–15 ship on December 16 or December 18, depending on when your letter is ready. Both mailings may arrive after Christmas. Christmas arrival and specific delivery dates are not guaranteed for any shipment.
Mailing dates are not arrival dates. Transit time begins when FedEx receives your package. We’ll email your tracking number on your scheduled mailing date. Tracking updates may begin after FedEx receives and scans it.
Shipping is $10 flat rate per order within the United States. Please provide a physical street address. We cannot ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO military addresses. International shipping is not available.

Santa letters can be created for young children, older children, adults, grandparents, and others who would enjoy a personal Christmas keepsake. The wording is adapted to the recipient rather than assuming every recipient is a young child or literal Santa believer.
Yes. Parents and guardians can share relevant family traditions, family details, and sensitive information they would like
considered when the letter is written. The Secret Scribes uses that information thoughtfully and does not make educational, therapeutic, behavioral, or medical claims.
